Overview
The loading edge of a mezzanine is the one place a handrail has to open. A pivot or pallet-drop safety gate solves it: when the outer gate opens for the forklift, the inner gate closes off the deck, so there is never an open edge with a person near it. Sized to the pallet opening and the deck height, bolted to the deck, and quoted with the handrail transition on either side.
