How to specify storage cabinets and lockers
General cabinets are 36" or 48" wide by 78" tall in heavy-gauge steel, shipped assembled, with casters and bin-front doors as options. Lockers are specified by the number of openings, tier, and width, with USB charging and ventilation as options. Flammable cabinets are listed and sized by gallons, typically 30, 45, or 60, with manual or self-closing doors. Lithium cabinets are fire-rated and sized by pack count, with ventilation and charging-in-cabinet where the design allows.
Hazard cabinets are quoted to the quantities and the code your EHS lead confirms, and outdoor chemical storage buildings are quoted where the floor should not hold the material at all.
Before you ask for a quote, know:
- Cabinet count and size; casters or fixed
- Locker openings, tiers, and location
- Flammable quantities and lithium pack counts on the floor

- Listed cabinets are limited per cabinet under the regulations, and the number of cabinets in an area is also limited. Your EHS lead confirms the quantities; we size the cabinets.
