Rack, Column, and Dock Protection
Rack protection is two problems: falling inventory and hit uprights. Netting on the rack back handles the first; end-of-aisle guards, upright protectors, and bollards handle the second. Column protectors guard building columns and the corners forklifts clip.

How to specify rack, column, and dock protection
Netting is sized to the bay width and height and mounted on the back of racks that face walkways or work areas, and overhead where product travels above people. End-of-aisle guards take the turning hit where forklifts enter the aisle. Upright protectors bolt or strap to the bottom of the frame, where most impacts land. Bollards stand alone at door openings, corners, and equipment.
Because each piece is quoted per bay, per aisle end, or per post, the package can be phased by aisle. Send the rack layout and the aisle widths and we build it.
Before you ask for a quote, know:
- Rack layout: bays, aisle ends, and which faces border walkways
- Bay width and height for netting
- Upright size for protectors
- Corners, doors, and equipment that need bollards
Questions buyers ask
- A forklift hit my rack. Repair or replace?
- Damaged uprights should be unloaded and assessed against the manufacturer's damage limits. Some damage is repairable with engineered repair kits; severe damage means a new upright. Protect the aisle end either way.
